WHyAcordia Homes

Our hassle-free Smooth SailingTM program is designed to get you through the home building maze - from financing through landscaping and all of the steps in between. Our network of lenders, realtors, land developers, designers, decorators, suppliers, and subcontractors will get your project on track quickly and efficiently.
We strive to build your home to meet the highest standards. An exclusive advantage in selecting Acordia Homes is the value that the company places on the relationships between builder and client. The construction side of Acordia Homes is based on a project management system. The benefit of this system is that you are dealing with one senior-level management person who is in charge of sales, construction and virtually everything within the scope of building your home to your satisfaction. That person, the Project Manager, is available seven days a week, if necessary. The advantage is the Project Manager´s consistent presence on your job site running the job, coordinating sub contractors, and ensuring quality workmanship. The Project Manager is in your home as it is being constructed, and knows your home inside and out.

Who isDavid ITO

Dave was born and raised on the North side of Chicago in the 1960´s. After earning his Bachelors degree in Finance from Northeastern Illinois University he was recruited by Western National Bank (now LaSalle Bank) as a lending officer in their commercial division. Eager to express the creativity that the banking culture tended to discourage, Dave left that environment and started a construction company in 1990. At first doing kitchen, bath, and interior remodels; then building decks, porches, and additions; and eventually single and multifamily new construction. Although today he is more the designer, planner, organizer, and financier than the artisan, his early hands on experience with everything from operating heavy equipment and framing to trim carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work provides him with the an understanding and appreciation of how to see a project through completion quickly, safely, and economically with the highest level of quality possible.

One of the ways Dave gives back to the community is through his involvement with Habitat for Humanity, the nonprofit group devoted to improving the lives of families by providing low cost houses to those in need. He was deeply involved with Uptown Habitat for Humanity in Chicago, and is now assisting Pike´s Peak Habitat for Humanity by participating on the Building Committee which plans and oversees construction activities of the local operation.
